1. "Do residents pay an entrance fee or endowment fee?"
The Carolina Inn at Village Green does not require an entrance fee or endowment fee. A $250 reservation fee is required for all residents.
2. "What is Level of Care, and how is Level of Care determined?"
Level of Care determines a resident's ability to meet activities of daily living (ADLs) and the amount of personal care they require. A complimentary assessment is conducted by a licensed nurse prior to admission. Each resident will be assessed at a Level 1, 2, 3 or 4.
3. "What happens when a resident's Level of Care exceeds Level 4?"
If a resident's needs no longer meet Assisted Living criteria, a care plan conference will be held with the family. Our sister facility, the The Rehabilitation and Health Care Center at Village Green, offers Levels of Care beyond Level 4.
4. "What is the staff to resident ratio?"
At one certified nursing assistant (CNA) to every 12 residents, The Carolina Inn far exceeds the nursing staff ratio required by the state of North Carolina. In addition, licensed nurses are on-site daily.
5. "What happens if our family's private funds are depleted?"
The Carolina Inn will assist by referring Medicaid resources and will help provide a smooth transition to either the The Rehabilitation and Health Care Center at Village Green or an alternate Medicaid facility of choice.
6. "May I bring my automobile?"

7. "May I bring my high-definition TV?"
